Amezaliwa 1976 katika kijiji cha Dumila, wilaya ya Kilosa, Mkoa wa Morogoro, Tanzania, Afrika Mashariki na ni mwimbaji wa nyimbo za injili kwa lugha ya Kiswahili
Rose Muhando kabla hajawa mkristo alikuwa Muislam na ni mama wa watoto watatu. Alimpokea Yesu Kristo pale alipokuwa anaumwa na yuko kitandani akiwa na umri wa miaka 9, aliugua kwa muda wa miaka mitatu, na baadae alipona na kubadili dini na kuwa Mkristo.
Rose alianza musiziki katika kwaya iliyoko Dodoma na alikuwa mwalimu wa Kwaya katika kwaya ya Dodoma St. Mary's katika kanisa la Kianglikana la Chimuli:

Tarehe 31/01/2005, Rose Muhando alizawadiwa tuzo ya Mtunzi mzuri wa nyimbo, Mwimbaji Bora na albamu Bora ya Mwaka. Tuzo hizo zilitolewa katika tamasha Tanzania Gospel Music Awards, 2004
Desemba 2005 alihudhuria katika tamasha la Nyimbo za Injili katika kusaidia kuchangia kwa watoto wajane dar es Salaam.
Februari 2011, Rose Muhando alisaini Mult Album Recording Deal with sony Music. Kusaini huko kulitangazwa katika mkutano wa waandishi wa habari Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, mwezi Februari na hii in mara ya kwanza ktfanyika afrika Mashariki.

orphan|date=Februa Rose Muhando,born 1976 in Dumila village, Kilosa District, Morogoro Region, Tanzania, is a popular East African Swahili gospel artist.Rose, a former devout Muslim and mother of three, claims to have seen a vision of Jesus Christ while indisposed on her sick bed at the age of nine,having suffered for three years, after which she was healed and later converted to Christianity.
She started her music career as a choir teacher in Dodoma's Saint Mary’s Choir for the Chimuli Anglican Church.

ACCOMPLISHMENT
On January 31, 2005, Rose Muhando was awarded the best composer, best singer, and for the best album of the year during the Tanzania Gospel Music Award Concert, 2004.In December 2005 she participated in a Gospel concert to help raise funds for a Daresalam children orphanage.
On Feb 2011 Rose Muhando signed multi album recording deal with Sony Music. The signing was announced at a press conference in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, on February 9 and is the first deal of its kind for East Africa.
